About Dice

I love yoga, and I love yoga-ing. One of my favorite teachers said it best, “Yoga can be a noun, and it can also be a verb.” My journey courses with inspiring ups and transforming downs. There are so many paths, and I know my path is only one of many, full of ideals and practices inspired by others. We live a life capable of being inspired, passionate, let down, spiteful, angry, sad, and best of all…happy. You get the idea. We live in dualities and variations of polarities. We aim for balance, for our neutral, aware that there are many different truths to finding neutral. There are many truths, period.

I was fortunate enough to become a student of yoga in 2007. To be able to share my passion for yoga through teaching has been one of my life’s greatest gifts. It inspires change and growth in my life daily. Yoga allows me to meet a vast and diverse group of people all connected by one great love for yoga & movement. It seems to me that however you get in the door…meditation, Pranayama, Ashtanga, Iyengar, arm balances and inversions, backbends, hip openings, rehabilitation, anatomy, philosophy, subtle body, meridians, chakras, feeling healthy, looking good, vinyasa flow, hot yoga – the list goes on and on – all are a great start to examining your life from a different perspective. Yoga asks us to look into the darker corners of our mind, and it helps us to see the light as well. I am on a constant search to learn more from others so that I may learn more about myself. I can only hope to inspire others like my family, friends and teachers continue to inspire me.

Conference Classes

Pre-Conference 13:00 - 16:00 | The Inverted Life

This practice is all about flipping your perspective and getting upside down in the flow. Yogis should expect a good dose of time on the forearms and hands, navigating through asanas like pincha mayurasana (forearm balance) and adho mukha vrksasana (hand balance). We will finish with a good amount of wrist, shoulder and neck counters, bringing the practice back around and finalizing with backbends, seated forward folds and hip openers. Practice on and invert on my fellow yogis!

Samstag 9:00 - 12:00 | Front Body & Heart Opening Flow

Surya Namaskar C, also known as Chandra Namaskar can be a useful salutation when looking to open the front body, thus creating more free and expansive backbends. This flow practice will build off of the traditional salutation and give way to a more non-traditional approach. We finalize our practice with forward folds, core work, and some twists, giving this practice the full circle it deserves. Practice on, my fellow yogis!

Samstag 15:00 - 16:30 | The Inverted Life

This practice is all about flipping your perspective and getting upside down in the flow. Yogis should expect a good dose of time on the forearms and hands, navigating through asanas like pincha mayurasana (forearm balance) and adho mukha vrksasana (hand balance). We will finish with a good amount of wrist, shoulder and neck counters, bringing the practice back around and finalizing with backbends, seated forward folds and hip openers. Practice on and invert on my fellow yogis!

Sonntag 8:30 - 10:00 | Ladder Flow

This practice is all about steadily building a choreographed flow sequence, then repeating it till the (vegan) cows come home. Yogis should expect a sweaty practice filled with strong standing postures, options for time on the hands, a few backbends, seated postures, and a few hip openers to top it all off. Come and climb the ladder with me, yogis!

Sonntag 15:00 - 16:30 | Digging Deep

The hips and pelvis store a lot of tension from our life encounters and experiences. Come explore the first and second chakras using deep hip engagers, followed by deep hip openers. Less of a flow, more of a hatha practice, we will excavate any unwanted energy within the body, and hopefully, the mind. Using twists, forward folds, and hip openers from all sides, yogis should expect a strong yet rewarding practice. Let’s dig deep, my fellow yogis!
