About David

David Lurey, 500 E-RYT, was introduced to Yoga in 1996 as a way to tone his body and relieve work related stress. Using those as a foundation for building an Asana practice, the other limbs of Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga began to unfold leading him to the path of teaching transformational Yoga.

David lives in Palma de Mallorca, Spain co-creating courses and trainings to ‘Inspire Health and Vitality’ with his beloved wife, Mirjam Wagner.

Using various spiritual teachings as guidelines for classes, David takes students through opening and often challenging Asanas while encouraging the magical power of breath and mental stillness to cultivate the true loving nature of the heart. This appears in several styles of Yoga that David shares in his teachings.

Samstag 8:30 - 10:00 | Maha Vinyasa Sadhana: Exploring the depths of your practice with awareness, devotion and compassion

Deepen your practice with a class designed to open you to new areas of strength and flexibility. With the mindfulness of postural integrity, specific alignment, and breath awareness balanced with the spirited nature of a devotional and dynamic movement practice, this class will open body, mind, and spirit. These workshops begin with mantra chanting and then move through a series of postures using in a free form sequence. They include various levels of postures to accommodate all levels of practitioners.

Samstag 13:00 - 14:30 | Finding Your Voice

An experience of Music, Singing, Storytelling and discovering how to share your truth. This is NOT a Yoga asana class, but a chance to free yourself through music and communication.

Sonntag 8:30 - 10:00 | The Garden of Delight: A Surprise Path to Hip Opening

When you touch the feet and you touch everything! By releasing tension in the toes, feet arches and ankles we create an environment for the hips to release their tension. This very special class is not your typical Hip Opening class but manipulates the bones and muscles of the feet and lower legs in such a way that the hip joint receives many benefits in turn. Be prepared for strong sensations in the lower part of the body by using your own body weight to open the feet. We will finish by lifting the legs up to give the final release signal to the hip joint.

Sonntag 13:00 - 14:30 | Integration & Inspiration

If we never pause and reflect… and most importantly, remember what lessons we have learned, the lessons lose their value! This practice is designed to support integration of new things to use them later and plant seeds to the heart for future flowers. We begin with music to bring us together then focus the mind through some active meditations. Then gentle asana work prepares the chest, shoulders and belly to create space for conscious breath. The practice finished with a powerful Pranayama which is designed to clear away the old and integrate the new…
